WHO IS PHIL WILLIAMS?
(Creator Of Lil’ Jimmy)
Phil Williams
was born and raised in
Akron Ohio
and at the age of three was
adopted by Caucasian parents.
They inspired Phil to
feel ashamed
of doing anything that was considered
to be negative. They allowed
him
at the age of nine to interact with his
drug dealing, pimp, and violent
father in Oakland California.
In their words
“They couldn’t teach Phil how to be black.” They were not
saying that being
black would equate to those negative
things however being with
his natural
father and six brothers was what they
thought was
best at that time.
During that time in Phil’s life he
witnessed exactly what the types of
actions to be ashamed of. That was
the unofficial start to
his creativity.
“The real Lil Jimmy was born.”
Phil told
himself at the age of nine
that he would not be like his dad.
By not
allowing the negative things
around him to impact who he was,
he
believed that his calling is to
help young people and use his
creativity
and characters to bring
a perspective to decision
making t
hat is not currently being articulated
in a
manner in which it may be
received. Lil Jimmy is that young
person that
will speak with his peers
iin a language
that is understood and
appreciated. Lil Jimmy will be
the
tool for this generation to stand up
for what’s right; respectfully
question
authority, be self productive, family
and the community. Most of all
appreciate the opportunity that
leaders of all races sacrificed
and
died for. These sacrifices were for
us to become something other
than selfish, materialistic,
negative
people.
Phil
currently resides in Atlanta,
Georgia and is also a producer and
song
writer. One thing is certain he is determined to cultivate our future
through the eyes and actions of
our children.
