The 2009 Judging Criteria Remember our MOTTO: Always Selling, Always Closing! Our prestigious team of judges will select the nominees in each of the categories based on review and analysis using a scoring system and five judging criteria. The judging process is comprehensive and overseen by Contest Management Professional. These final selections will be recognized as The Twinkie Award Nominees in May 2009 at The Twinkie Awards Luncheon. Winners: In each of the categories, there is one chance in each category to win The Twinkie Award. The judges will vote to choose a single winner based on review and analysis of the nominees. These winners in each category will receive The Twinkie Award. Five Guidelines for Judging Criteria: 1. Content 2. Structure 3. Presentation and Visual Design 4. Call to Action 5. Overall Engagement of an Offer Here's what our Judging Team are looking for: Best Product Branding A trademark or distinctive name identifying a product or a manufacturer. A product line so identified: a popular brand of soap. Show us your method of branding your product or service, ( i.e wrap vehicles, specialty products, slogans, logos, trademarks, billboards, tag lines, etc.) Best Marketing on a Shoe String Budget Show us your clever marketing skills on a shoe string budget. You must submit a budget with your presentation. Best Marketing Strategies Show us what marketing strategies that set your company apart from your competitors through the right combination of marketing, advertising and customer outreach to reach a targeted audience. Your marketing strategies should be clear and effective. (i.e. Open Houses , Product Launches, Advertising Campaigns, Web Marketing, Social Media, Press, etc.) Best Email Marketing Campaign We are looking for effective email marketing campaigns that delivers results, impressive statistics, sales, etc. as a result of your email marketing with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a target audience with its current or previous customers and to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business. You will be required to provide examples and statistics during your presentation. Best Best Use of a Postcard or Flyer Judges will examine how your postcard or flyer was used to advertise your products and services to an event or service offering. Visual Design, Content, and Call to Action are key judging criteria. Contestant postcard or flyer will stand alone-no presentation is necessary. Best Social Media Marketing How are you marketing in social media outlets such as: Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, The Ning Social Networks, Blogs, BlogTalk Radio, and Streaming Media. Show us how your engagement with online communities generated exposure, members, sales, press, and traffic through opportunities generated online.
